Janet Jackson is currently developing a new reality television show for MTV. The show will focus on Janet mentoring aspiring singers and dancers, and has already started casting. The untitled project will be shot in the upcoming months as Janet prepares for her "Rock Withchu" world tour, which starts Sept 10.

Producers are still thinking on what the grand prize will be, but it's reported that it will have something to do with the tour.

It's really about finding who's the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher," and we'll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn't typically find it from. We'll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centers and try to cast the show.

The groups new album, "80's Babies" hit stores latter this year. The group also has a new member by the name of 4play. He replaces Pleasure, who left to do solo things.

Michelle Williams and BET had a little fallen out yesterday. The entertainment channel "reportedly" opted not to play Michelle's new video, "We Break The Dawn" because it wasn't urban enough! The video has been getting heavy play on MTV and MTV2, and Michelle appeared on TRL yesterday to promote the single and her upcoming album, "Unexpected".

The singer also gave her opinion on the whole thing, via her MySpace.

A lot of you guys are wondering why it’s not on BET!!! Well how can I say this without starting any drama……..it may not be ‘urban’ enough!!! Whatever the hell that means!!! (this is the political foolishness we artists go through on a daily basis).

Then a little later, Michelle mended the situation and all with BET is forgiven.....I think anyway...LOL

Hey y’all I wanted to be clear to you guys about BET. They did not reject my video for not being urban. It was just given to the channel this week as my urban radio plan is starting to take effect. R&B singer, R.Kelly was not found guilty on any of the charges stemming from his child pornography case.

The verdict came six years after the R&B superstar was first charged with videotaping himself having sex with a young girl. Prosecutors had said she was as young as 13 at the time.

The Grammy award-winning singer dabbed his face with a handkerchief and hugged each of his four attorneys after the verdict was read. The singer had faced 15 years in prison if convicted.

Once again I am sorry for the lack of updates for the past two days. I just had to step away from the computer a little bit, I was starting to fall out of love with blogging, it was starting to become a "job" than a hobby. LeToya Online, a fansite, reported that MediaTakeOut(I don't believe anything they say, but thought this might be newsworthy.) has talked to a rep within Beyonce's camp, and confirmed that the two could be working together sometime in the future.

Beyonce and Letoya have always had a good relationship and their styles complement each other. It was only a matter of time before they came together again for a song. It's been 3 years since Missy's last album, "The Cookbook" dropped in stores, and she has been pretty low-key. But news has surface of a new album and "reported" new single.

For starters, why name your new album FANomenal?

I had a contest (in March to let fans name the album) and we had so many people taking part. There were so many fans and I decided I wanted to dedicate it to my fans and spell it with F-A-N. Fanomenal. So I dedicate this album to my fans. I have had so many people sticking with Missy from Day One. So this album is for them.

It has been three years since the last record. It was the longest gap between your albums. What took you so long to come up with a new album?

I was working on other artistes’ records. Sometimes, you feel like taking a break and getting your thoughts together. It’s not like I wanted to have a long break and to have people missing me. But when my record comes out, I want it to be of the best quality. I’ve been busy working on other artistes’ albums and now I’m ready to put an album out.

"Act A Fool", the "rumored" first single is suppose to impact radio in the next upcoming weeks. "FANomenal" the album is expected to hit stores later this year.

But for tonight, before the pressure begins to build up about the holiday ahead tomorrow, chill out to a "good" movie, and I use the word "good" very loosely. Don't take my word for it, but doesn't the tittle, "Who Made The Potatoe Salad" just make your mouth water.

Synopsis:

I'm sleeping as hell, and I decided to give you peeps one more post before I call it a night!...See how much I love you folks.

The MTV network just gave the greenlight for the 21st season of "The Real World", which will be filmed in Brooklyn, NY. "The Real World: Hollywood" is the latest season, and can be seen every Wednesday night at 10pm. It is also being reported that it was unclear whether the show would be returning for another season, but the current ratings this season are so high that the network decided to renew the project for another season.

Filming begins this summer, and it's unknown what part of Brooklyn the show will be filmed in. Let's hope it's not a bad part, because I would hate for one of them, stuck-up rich white girls to get robbed and shanked on the subway. But that would make for some interesting T.V., Just kidding....LOL(No, I'm not!)

...I stopped watching after Hawaii and Vegas, and to be honest I didn't think it still came on. I miss me some Coral though! She put that white boy in his place, remember???....go check YouTube if you don't, like I said I'm tired!

Adele is an English soul, jazz singer who has been garnering rave reviews with her debut album "19" in the UK. Many have dubbed her "the new Amy Winehouse", but to me, Amy doesn't even come close. To be honest, I don't really care for Amy's music, but when I was listening to a couple of tracks off Adele's album, it took me back to the days of "real" blue-eyed soul. Adele credits her influences to old and new school soul singers such as Jill Scott, Etta James, Alicia Keys, Roberta Flack, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu Ella Fitzgerald and many more.

Adele considers her sound to be a mix of soul, pop, r&b, and jazz fusion. Adele also attended the same high school as fellow cross-over artist, Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis. She released her first album, "19"(her age.) in January of 08 and the disc debut at number one, and quickly went platinum. Signed under a UK independent label, XL Recordings, Adele signed with American label, Columbia Records(Feb 2008) to release her album in the states. Adele has already won a Brit Award for "Critics Best Choice".

Just one listen to "Chasing Pavements" you are bound to become hooked. I listened to it back to back last night, and could not stop. Her voice is melodic, and serenades the beat very nice. You can just close your eyes and begin to dream, that's how deep it is. "Cold Shoulder" is another jam to listen too.

Latarian Milton and his grandmother recently went to Wal-Mart, and Latarian asked his grandmother for some chicken wings, and she told him no. He then ordered them anyway, and when she approached Latarian about the situation he went off, hitting her in the stomach, leg, and any other place he could reach.

I was making my rounds today, nothing really seemed to pop to post about. I headed over to YouTube to check out my girl, Jia from JiaTV to see if she had any new videos uploaded. Miami rapper, Rick Ross was shooting the video for his new single ,"Here I Am" featuring Nelly, when the hired animal trainer was attacked by his own white tiger! The trainer was bitten on the leg after the tiger became entangled in chains, and when the unnamed trainer tried to help, the tiger attacked.

The tiger was to be featured in the video as a pet to Rick Ross!

The attacked happened before Nelly arrived on set. The trainer did manage to get the tiger back into it's cage before the paramedics arrived. [SOURCE]

BATMAN "THE DARK KNIGHT" TRAILER

The trailer for the movie, Batman "The Dark Knight" was released today. The film hits theaters everywhere on July 18th.

The movie stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Maggie Gyllenhall and the late Heath Ledger, who has been winning critics prays as "The Joker".

Here is quick summary plot of the movie:
Right after taking out Ra's Al Ghul's plan and the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Jonathan Crane AKA Scarecrow, Batman continues his seemingly-endless effort to bring justice to Gotham's crime and corrupt with the help of Lt. James Gordon and new appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent. But this time, The Dark Knight faces a rising psychopathic criminal called The Joker, who's eerie grin makes him more dangerous than what he has yet to unleash. It becomes an agenda to both enemies that only one of them remains and are willing to break every part of what they believe in to stop the other.

The movie looks good, a complete upgrade from the last. I might go out and see it.

Actress Terri J. Vaughn and her husband, arena football player Karon Riley welcomed a baby boy on April 21st. The couple named there son, Kal'El Joseph Riley because Karon is a huge Superman' fanatic and Kal'El is Superman's Kryptonian name and means "God-like abilities.

The baby weighed in at 7 pounds and 6 ounces.

I think the name is very fitting for him -- he's strong, cool and mellow, just perfect, I could tell even when I was carrying him inside me because he made me feel like Superwoman!

Chaka Khan is ordered to pay $1.3 million dollars to the family of Christopher Bailey (17), after Khan's son Damien Holland(29) accidentally shot Bailey with a assault riffle. Damien Holland was acquitted of all charges in 2006, after saying the weapon accidentally went off.

Reports are saying that Holland got angry with Christopher Bailey because Bailey was messing around with Damien's girlfriend at the time. Neither Khan, nor Holland, responded to a September 2006 wrongful death lawsuit filed by Bailey’s family, and a judgment was entered against them. [SOURCE]

The 'Greatest Love of All' singer performed on the last night of the festival, just before headliner Rod Stewart took the stage.

Houston opened her show with 'Its Not Right, But Its Okay' and by her third song, 'Saving All My Love,' the once soprano's newfound tenor tone was in full rasp.

Delivering only seven songs during her 30 minute set, Houston was reportedly paid a whopping $3 million for the show.

Though journalists were flown in from all over the world, Houston refused to allow media and photographers within 200 feet of the stage. She brought her own photographer to the venue and only he was allowed to shoot her performance.

Wearing a white gown with a single shoulder strap, Houston skipped around the stage and continuously shouted to the crowd: "I love you Trinidad !'

Unfortunately, the concert was in Tobago!

Locals shouted back each time: "This is Tobago!"

The 44-year-old music icon ambitiously attempted 'And I'll Always Love You,' however she struggled through the build up and knew better than attempt the high finish.

Wesely Snipes was sentenced to 3 years in prison today. Snipes was given the maximum penalty sentence, and was not given a specific time to turn himself into the authorities.

Snipes owes $2.7 million in back taxes. After the verdict, Wesely apologized while reading from a written statement for his "costly mistakes," but never mentioned the word taxes.
